Pioneer clothing (1-3 days' worth). No Jeans. Long sleeves recommended.
Wide-brim hat or bonnet
Sturdy walking shoes or boots (broken in)
River crossing shoes (water shoes or old tennis shoes)
Extra socks (3-4 pairs recommended)
Light jacket or sweatshirt
Modest sleepwear
Work gloves for pulling handcarts
Metal pie plate and metal spoon for meals
Bandana/handkerchief
Overnight Trek Gear
Sleeping bag or blankets
Sleeping pad (optional)
Small pillow (optional)
Tarp(s)
Personal Items
Water bottle or metal cup for water
Sunscreen

Trek Packing Tips
✓ Label all personal belongings.
✓ Expect warm days, & cool evenings.
✓ Wear shoes that have already been broken in—never brand-new footwear on trek.
✓ Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to work, serve, and have fun together as a family!
On the Trail Pack Light—each person is suggested to bring about one 5-gallon bucket worth of supplies. Every pound packed is a pound pushed!
